arrichello has faith in RA107
28 March 2007
Rubens Barrichello is confident that Honda's RA107 has a lot of potential even though the team failed to show this at the Australian Grand Prix.

Both Barrichello and his team-mate Jenson Button struggled with the car's handling, which prevented them from finishing in the top ten at the season opener and they were even outpaced by sister outfit Super Aguri for most of the weekend. However, Barrichello believes that development is all that is needed to make the car competitive.
"It's not a '98 Stewart, which was probably the worst car I've ever driven," he told F1 Racing magazine.
"You could see that was a bad car straight away. I know for a fact actually that this Honda isn't bad. We have to take some deviations because it was born with a bad habit: when you turn-in you lose rear grip. But it'll become competitive because there are gains in traction and downforce; power is good, power delivery is better."
Barrichello is content that Honda has the resources to dig itself out of any dilemma.
"This team have everything to be able to solve the problems, and even build a new car if that's what it takes. But I don't think we're in that situation," he added.

Mouais ... Ça pourrait être long.
